🌟 Crow Creek Cemetery Restoration

The Crow Creek Cemetery Restoration began with a question. When Diversity Foundation executive director Lyle Rustad asked Crow Creek elder and former Tribal President Vern Ashley what needed to be done at Crow Creek, Ashley pointed to the condition of the reservation's cemeteries. The Diversity Foundation then contacted people in Rochester, Minnesota, to find volunteers willing to help restore them. A delegation from Rochester's Trinity Presbyterian Church had been working on the restoration since 2006.
